Default Monk Gathering

Every weekend community groups gather teams consisting of one profession and have fun in areas such as Sorrow's Furnace, Fissure of Woe, Underworld, Domain of Anguish, etc. I am not aware of any all-monk gatherings. Would you like to organize one? The most popular time seems to be 2000 GMT on Saturday, but we are still trying to figure out the best time. Some people have expressed interest at GWO forum already. Post you in-game name and your timezone if you are interested.

2000 GMT would be around 1500 EST I believe. I'm fine by that.

In-game name: Knogo Zarayma.

Well, there have actually been all-monk teams in the past

There was a weekend, about a month before the factions beta where there was a general strike of monks from LA districts, Droknars and across Tyria. Basically all us monks were quite annoyed at the time because of the multitude of players blaming the monks alll the time for parties failing. The strike seemed to highlight the issue and things returned to normality after the weekend.

We had great fun with an 8-monk team, 2 heal, 1 prot, 5 smiters - we did THK back when it was hard (before all those extra skills), standing in the middle area where the boss stands, and doing the bonus. We ripped up the whole level fast and it was very easy to do. We also went off and did capping and missions in Fire island - a great weekend for sure, something I'll never forget.

Heal/Prot Monks: ZB prot, HB Healer, LoD Infuser (me). That was an overheal in my opinion, but better safe than sorry for our first trip
Most damage monks used Signet of Judgment with Mantra of Inscriptions. At least one person used... Word of Censure!
